“ We had the most beautiful day in the little town, from Milkstop we ordered the bloody Mary cheeseburger, and the cheeseburger was delicious !We also ordered the cannoiles they were dynamite! The service was impeccable and had food on the table in no time! Very much recommended for a cute little day and a beautiful dinner. ”
“ Recently had my baby shower here. They have a side room that you can reserve for parties and events. The food was absolutely delicious- we had fruit, quiche, and a really delicious bread and veggie casserole. They also had the bar set up for us for drinks and everyone was so friendly. ”
“ This is a favorite spot for dinner for our family. However for my husband's 50th bday party we used the catering and I can't tell you how incredible the food was. We ordered every 4 foot sub, many sides, and the charcuterie board. We had 55 people and everyone raved about the food. It was hot and all fresh. We will definitely be using the catering again. ”
“ Wonderful owners and staff. They all work their butts off, and provide top notch service with a smile. It’s always a fantastic time every time I come here. The drinks are delicious, and I always look forward to the weekend quiche. ”
“ Love the reverse happy hour and live music during the weekends. ! Food and drinks are always top notch and the atmosphere gives neighborly vibes where everyone is welcome. The service rocks too. ”
“ I figured I should do a review since we've eaten here dozens of times now! We love the food and adore the staff, and have been regulars for while. Chris and Mary obviously take great care of their employees, because they stick around! Randy is by far the best bartender around these parts, and makes every visit a joy. Only "complaint" I have is that Google needs to update the open hours to show the afternoon 'kitchen closed' time. ”
“ Having lived in Forest Park, Oak Park, and North Riverside over the last 5-10 years, my wife and I have tried a lot of great places on those areas, plus La Grange, Oak Brook, Hinsdale, and others. Milkstop Cafe is hands down my favorite restaurant. The service is always top notch - never have to wait too long to order a drink, appetizer, or meal. And most importantly, when I’m ready to leave, I don’t have to feel like a hostage because I can’t get the wait-person’s attention to get the check. Milkstop has great cocktails and great food. Most recently, I tried the Crawfish Creole dish and it was incredible (both taste and presentation). I can’t wait to go back and have that dish again. ”
“ Great place for lunch the other day. Located in a part of La Grange I had never bern to. It wasn't super packed, as I heard at dinner, it can be a bit loud. Mimosas, Burger, Chicken Tortilla Salad I believe, Spaghetti w/ meatballs and Quiche with fruit was what my table ordered. Food was served by one of the chefs who didn't introduce himself, however I commended him and the rest of the chefs on the flavor and presentation of the food. Everyone truly enjoyed what they ordered. Ample parking on the street too. Highly recommend this place, especially during the lunch hours. Oh...and the apple cornbread crisp dessert was a must try too! Yummy. ”
